The DSM-5-TR is available to borrow at the library's reference desk. Visit the second floor of the library and ask the librarian for the book. HVCC does not currently have access to the electronic version of the DSM-5-TR.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental illness where someone experiences intensely distressing thoughts (obsessions) that lead to repetitive behaviors that temporarily relieve the distress (compulsions) (Source: Mayo Clinic). These unwanted thoughts and behaviors cause significant distress and get in the way of a person's ability to function.
