Research Tips for HVCC Students Remote Learning Success

HVCC's OneSearch is a tool that searches most of the library's database content. Sign in to save items and searches to your library account.

Search Individual Research Databases

Search subject driven databases for more specific results. Search in a variety of ways (e.g. keyword, subject, author, or title).

More Ebooks

Search directly in the databases Ebook Central or EBSCO Ebooks both have opened their collections to HVCC students temporarily.

Search Google Scholar

Google Scholar searches the internet for academic books and articles. Add HVCC library links in your Google Scholar settings.

TRAP Source Evaluation

There are many ways to evaluate information. Keep the TRAP method in mind: timeliness, relevance, authority, perspective
