Children's Literature Available From the Dwight Marvin Library

The Children's Literature collection is located on the main floor of the Marvin Library near the elevator. 

Looking for a specific title or author? Find out where the book is located using the HVCC Catalog

  1. Select HVCC Catalog
  2. Enter the title or author you are looking for
  3. Select Books/Ebooks from the material type menu.
  4. Click search.
  5. The call number (where the book is on the shelf) will be the last piece of information after Available at Dwight Marvin Library Children's Lit .

Do you have time to request books from Resource Sharing? Yes! Search the SUNY catalog using these steps:

  1. Select SUNY Catalog from the list of search options
  2. Type the title or author you are looking for into the search bar. 
  3. Leave the material types as books/ebooks.
  4. Click search.
  5. Sign in to your library account using your HVCC username and password. 
  6. When you find the book you want, click on "Check for available services."
  7. Click the white box that says Resource Sharing. Double check that the form is correct, then click Send Request.
  8. Pick up your item when you get an email saying your item is ready. The book(s) will be held for you at the First Floor Service Desk.

Upper Hudson Library System Logo

If you live in Albany or Rensselaer Counties your public library is in the Upper Hudson Library System.

If you live in Schenectady, Fulton, Montgomery, or Schoharie County, your public library is in the Mohawk Valley Library System.
