Welcome to New York Heritage Digital Collections! Heritage is a portal for learning more about the people, places and events that contributed to the making of New York State. NY Heritage is a repository for hundreds of digital collections from different libraries and organizations.

There you can discover photographs, letters, diaries, maps, directories, artifacts, oral histories and more. They present a glimpse into the history and culture of what is today New York State. These items have been contributed by over 430 libraries, museums, archives, and cultural institutions. From here you can search and view the entire collection. The collection is also broken down into four sub-collections (Veterans Vocational School, 1946 – 1952; Hudson Valley Technical Institute, 1953 -1958; Hudson Valley Community College, 1959 – Present; Hudson Valley Sports and Athletics), each of which can be searched separately from the others.
